Alister Taylor

Creator, publisher, and Krishna devotee Alister Taylor is a California based entrepreneur. He is the founder of Torchlight Publishing Inc. a USA based publisher of books on Indian Culture and Philosophy. Originally from New Zealand, he has been visiting India for more than 25 years.
He is an ardent promoter of Vedic literature having studied the main Vedic literatures over the last 25 years including India’s Great Classics Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad-gita. The Mahabharata and Ramayana published by his Torchlight Publishing continue to be best sellers and have been published into 10 languages including Hungarian, Chinese and Korean.
His publications on Indian culture and philosophy include the bestselling children’s illustrated Bhagavad-gita, The Song Divine.
Where’s Hanumun is his brainchild. Created so that Indian children could learn about India’s great cultural heritage in an entertaining way.
An ISKCON member for 25 years, Alister has lived in Mayapur, West Bengal with his family for the last 5 years and loves India and Indian culture.
